Larry Elmore art page 1

We are probably all familiar with the art that Larry does. I was hoping to approach him to design a cover for a Con that I might helping to set up. I would want it to be Traveller related - what would you want to see on a Larry Elmore sketch?

Something that doesn't involve T&A? Now that would be a real challenge for Elmore. graemlins/file_23.gif

But seriously, given his style, perhaps a first contact scene or a downport scene of crew checking their passengers on board.

He did much of the interior artwork for the T4 Book, I do believe. Some of it is quite good.

The pencils he did for T4 were AWESOME. I'm told they were also frightfully expensive.

A crowd scene in a market with lots of varying types of people / aliens.

I would love to see him do an Aslan. I've seen some of his felines and they are great.

What if we were to get someone like Mike Deodato? And here is another question, while we are at it...should Traveller art reflect what is in the comics or should look elsewhere for inspiration for a new generation of gamers?
