I'm working my way through a delightful book call "Broken Angels."
One of the characters is a corporate type, what a Shadowrunner would call "Mr. Johnson."
In a discussion about equipment used by the poorly funded rebels, he mentions that he has a "doctorate in conflict investment."
Just the sort a small group of Merc PCs would end up working for. :)
