Just an fyi in case you missed it.

As of last week it seems Xtreme Hobby is on indefinite hiatus according to the website.

Cold Navy (http://coldnavy.xtreme-hobby.com/)

Among other things they produced an outstanding line of spaceship miniatures and had just gone to an improved casting.

They are no longer taking orders but still filling those placed before last week. It's sad to see this happen and while I will have some coming (should arrive today) I had hoped to order more.

With luck they will be back in business but the industry seems to just wreck those who try it. I think part of this case is the loss of a whole bunch of export orders recently where the company pretty much ate the loss. I was pleasantly surprised at the great customer relations during this and offered to pay the difference in the shipping costs at the very least so they wouldn't take too big a hit and go under. My offer was ignored, and now I'm afraid I was too prophetic. I hope they are just taking a break and come back. I'll be keeping a light on.

Just an update, overdue, Cold Navy is back in business after a brief reorganization. Oh and I did get mine, and they are bee-oot-eye-full :D I just need to find time to paint them up nice and purty.

Cold Navy back in business is a good thing. They have some original designs that seem to fit traditional SciFi.

These look nifty! I've been contemplating springing for some of Ground Zero's ships for a while now, but might go for Cold Navy's instead. Certainly a lot cheaper.
