Just a quick quaestion. Does FFE have any plans to reprint Tarsus and/or Beltstrike? Does FFE intend to eventually reprint the entire Classic Traveller canon?

Unless Marc has completely changed plans, yes they are to be reprinted in The Classic Modules reprint, which was listed as including the Spinward Marches Campaign, Tarsus, Beltstrike and Alien Realms. (I don't remember if there were others.)

It was originally scheduled after the third JTAS reprint and before the Alien reprints. Obviously that was changed. The next reprints to come out are supposed to be the third JTAS and Second Survey.

So, unless Hunter has any privy info he is willing/able to share, I would say that yes, those two modules are to be reprinted, but not before 2004.

And, yes, it appears that FFE intends to reprint all of the Classic Traveller canon made by GDW. At some point, they will most likely reprint the FASA and Gamelords stuff, too. (FFE apparently gained the rights to them.)

The key thing with the reprints, however, is lots and lots of patience.

Yes and yes ;) To provide a little more detail, one of the upcoming reprint volumes is called "The Classic Modules" and will include Tarsus, Beltstrike, Spinward Marches Campaign, Alien Realms and maybe Atlas of the Imperium (it was originally supposed to include AotI, but now that "Second Survey" has been as a separate volume, I don't know if Marc wants to reprint it twice).

Tarsus reprint? My store still has a couple boxed sets on the shelf. They're a little dusty; actually were a lot dusty but I blew that off a few months back (and the dust was older than some of the kids that come into the store).

man, I'm getting old(er)...

Two questions: do you accept mail orders and how much are they selling for?

sorry, I hadn't gotten back to this board for a few days. A couple of the Tarsus boxes are a little crushed in spots, but I think one at least was in good shape (the shrink wrap is torn some). One is completely open, I can compare it to my copy (which I've only read) to see if all the components are there. Beltstrike rings a memory bell, I'll check for it.

I'll pass this on to my partner, he's doing the mail order stuff (i.e., E-bay).

Or, visit our website (no online store so this may not be much use except for an e-mail address): http://www.lairevents.com/

As to price, probably the original selling price, depending on the condition of the box.

We have a few old Challenge magazines, some JTAS, and if we can find them, a few LBB adventures; besides old old stuff from other games.

Oh, yeah: we have some non-Traveller GDW games (i.e., Tet Offensive, Boots and Saddles(?) ). Our last copy of Invasion:Earth sold about a month ago (we did have 3 when I bought the place 1 1/2 years ago; the only reason I can think of why they sold suddenly was that they got moved and became more visible?)
