Like all things Vargr, some do, some don't, and some will take your dog from you just because. My favorites are the Vargrs with the pet chimps. graemlins/file_22.gif

I'm suprised no-one has asked if Aslan keep cats..

That is because nobody keeps cats, the cat either adopts you and runs the house or it doesn't and it still runs the house. smile.gif So wouldn't it be more to the point to ask if Cats keep Aslan? smile.gif

(After all what but a Cat would think that a creature with wings that flap around but can only fly in dense atmosphere with low gravity is funny. There was an ex-Scout Vargr PC in my old game who kept goldfish. She used to like to hold them up to the window in jump. They tended to die a lot, or start swimming backwards...

Then she had a special vacsuit helmet made so they could swim about inside. They died, too, so she had holographic ones fitted instead.

Her most prized possession was her Section 8 discharge paper.

I couldnt't see the objection to Vargr keeping dogs...after all Terrans species are alien animals to Vargr.

Just as when we make our way to the Stars just as the Vilani did before...we will domesticate whatever is in the natural environment for a subsistance economy. Or else we gene modify all creatures to meet our needs like groats in CT.

Dogs would never just be a Terran thing. One question...how would cats react around Vargr?

Ooh, ooh! What about a vargr/aslan/k'kree/ hiver... that was allergic to humans? Or just Solomani/SwordWorlders/Darrians/Zhodani...?

Well, I don't have a cat. I would like to say that my dog has an owner, but am not sure if that's acurate.....

He definitely has an owner, just don't know if he quite qualifies as a dog....... (more along the lines of Cannis Mutatis idiotis ...

Vargr may keep dogs, but in one game I played in the K'Kree had a fascination with cattle, and acquired large stocks of them. K'kree keeping cows, or an uplift?

Have not run the "Vargr with fleas" idea yet(will implement ASAP), but did have a PC who liked the idea of his Aslan character having a bad case of "hair balls". Which led to some truly warped game play, including choking one up on the K'Kree ambassador at the height of diplomatic talks, possibly on purpose.
