I know the problems with the phone is to say the least catastrophic, a fire in the local exchange. He's managing to get limited online access through GPRS when he's working. Drop him a line borderDOTreiverATterranfederationDOTorg.
It's really funny but I've never seen anyone with internet withdrawal symptoms before, if anyone's got them, it's Dave. When his motherboard went last year he was worse.
