after reading murphs "who are we" i can say there is enough talent and experience out ther to TOTALLY trash and loot the ENTIRE
imperium in one 20 hour traveller session!!!
lets throw a traveller convention. some where
in the mid west, last man standing OR awake--
WINS!!!! anyone interested?? ill buy the burgers!! any other ideas?? lets hear them!!

Define Midwest - being a life-long native in Iowa (what I consider the Mid-West), I have been surprised over the years by exactly how large a region the Mid-West could be by some accounts. Folks I work with in DC consider anything anything west of Virginia the Midwest and anything past the Mississippi R. being in the West. Same is true for West coasters who think that eastern Colorado is the part of the Mid West because it is flat.
As to some kind o' gathering, YOU BET.

Define Midwest - being a life-long native in Iowa (what I consider the Mid-West), I have been surprised over the years by exactly how large a region the Mid-West could be by some accounts. Folks I work with in DC consider anything anything west of Virginia the Midwest and anything past the Mississippi R. being in the West. Same is true for West coasters who think that eastern Colorado is the part of the Mid West because it is flat.

the convention could be held at Roswell N.M.,
after all EVERYONE knows it was an Imperial scout ship that had an "accident" there and the A.F. has it at area 54 now. and the crew are still now Civial Service Employees. we could have one as a guest speaker - the one who won the HUGO for best Sci-Fi noval of the year!!! how bout that!!! i still cant belive we screwed up "First Contact"!!!!

Traveller convention!? Where? When? I would recomend some place easily accessable to public transport. Not all of us have cars.
Wherever it is I'll make a serious attempt to get there. In Traveller, the journey itself is the adventure........
