I'm not sure which is my favorite vehicle, but I guess it depends on what situation you are in.

My favorite starship: Type S Scout, Sulieman class
Why? Its small, its wedgy, and its the perfect ship to run away with the girlfriend and explore the galaxy. :cool:

My favorite vehicle:air/raft
Why? Its convertable. You can haul cargo with it, carry people with it,
load a 90mm recoilles rifle on it and blow stuff up, etc.

Gotta love the Happy Fun Ball
(800-ton mercenary cruiser for those who don't know)

It's big enough to get into some entertaining space battles, the cutters are great for landings, it holds just enough troops for PC's to control. I probably would have designed it differently but as it is it works well in play.

Vehicles: I like Gcarriers, you can land from orbit without vacc suits, and they can shoot stuf up too.

I've always liked the Fiery class Gunned Escort that came out in The Megatraveller Journal. Wedge shaped, sleek, and enough armor and weapons to seriously ruin someone's day. Here's a link to a picture of it.

Fer the Big ship fan in me--AN Azhanti-High Lightning class Fleet Intruder, 60 ktns, J-5/2G, plenty of FTRs, small craft, a a P-class meson gun spinal mount.

Fer the small ship fan in me, the fav is:

The Fer de lance DE, 1kton, J4/6G, a mean lean pirate killin machine, bar none.

101 Vehicles of the rebellion(RS Dean/ others),
The TL-15, Empress Grav carrier. 6cm of CBSD armor, agile, fast, one sweet RPY-Fusion gun (sm remote turret), and seats fer 10x BD troopers (comfortable-not cramped!), stuffed into a 15-20dtn SL-hull, sleek like a Shark. Crew of three

For myself it's a toss-up between the basic Free and Far traders. Good, solid ships...the ones Traveller was built around. Small/large enough for a group of players, but large/small enough to get them into trouble ;)

For a vehicle, grav is nice, but I like ATVs (wheeled or tracked) Again, basic, but solid and capable....some of my best adventures both as GM and player were in ATVs smile.gif

My fave big ship has to be the Tigress class Dreadnaught. Nothing impresses the hell out of the local System Defense yokels like 300K Dtons of screaming Imperial naval technology! :D

For PC controlled ships I always have loved the Happy Fun Ball Mecenary Cruiser. 4 Triple Beam Laser turrets and 4 Triple Missile turrets give you some punch. Give the cutters one Fighter cradle module, an AFV module each, and an Assault Boat module to spice things up. Invite 3 heavily armed squads of drinking buddies on board for the ride and "Look out you primitive, balkanized screwheads!" graemlins/file_21.gif

For vehicles I like the classic G-Carrier. It can go almost anywhere, you don't have to put on a bulky old vacc-suit, and nothing says 'anti-theft device' like an RP-X rapid pulse fusion gun! :cool:

No I didn't do it, I wish I was that good. It was done By a gentleman named Jesse DeGraff (sp?). He's done a lot of the covers for the GURPS Traveller Books. Here's a link to his website.
